This week, the AfCoP concluded its 3rd Annual Meeting which took place in Dakar, Senegal. Over 50 participants representing a wide range of AfCoP member countries across Africa met to discuss the AfCoP's progress made since its creation in 2007 and to assess and plan for its second phase.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for members to share lessons learned and success stories on implementing MfDR in Africa as well as to define a new AfCoP strategy focusing on reinforcing capacities at the national level and building institutional capacity in MfDR. All meeting materails and the full report will be posted soon. In the interim, please find attached the meeting agenda and AfCoP Phase 2 Concept Note developed by the Core Management Team.
