As Programme Officer, Social Statistics am involved with data collection, analysis, dissemination and management of a wide array of regional social statistics relating to the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Statistical areas covered include Population, Labour, Health, Education, Millennium Development Goals and Gender

Currently am a Member and Secretary of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) Technical Advisory Panel and Network on National Statistics and National Systems (STATNET); Member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS).

Was:

- Deputy Director in the Central Statistical Office (CSO)/ Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT), October 1995 to September 2010, responsible for Household Surveys, Social Statistics, Electronic Data Processing, Desktop Publishing and Printing; Gender Focal Person, Member of the National Gender and HIV and AIDS Technical Working Group, and National Survey Coordinator for the 2009 Zimbabwe Multiple Monitoring Indicator Survey (MIMS); Country Cordinator, International Statistical Literacy Programme, 2010

-Team Leader for Committee charged with transforming the Central Statistical Office (CSO) from a Government Department into a Semi-Autonomous Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) from July 2004 to March 2010,
