Achieving collaborative, business or personal goals requires effective planning and follow-through. The plan is effectively a "route-map" from the present to the future. To plan a suitable route you must know where you are (situation analysis) and where you want to go (establish goals). Only then can appropriate action plans be developed to help achieve the desired future. However, because the future is uncertain, our action plans must be adaptive and allow continually for "learning by doing". To do this we need appropriate evaluation tools and processes, and information flows that help the different stakeholders involved check that their efforts are proceeding as planned, and to refine and guide their responses if changes are needed.

AfCOP Annual General Meeting and CLEAR Training in Nairobi

Hi Charles,

Hope you are good in your day to day work. I am glad to associate and network with you as an AfCOP Member.

The reason for this abrupt message to you is to inform you of the AfCOP Annual General Meeting and CLEAR Training that will take place in Nairobi Kenya, next month (May 22 - 27th 2011) of which the AfCOP Secretariat selected you to attend.

In this regard, the KCoP Secretariat Organizing the said AGM would like to contact you but they do not have your phone and email details. Kindly send them to KCoP Secretariat so that they can give you more details through: secretariat@kcop-mfdr.org or to Mr. Kevin Njuki of MED - Ministry of Planning & Vision 2030 on: knjuki@planning.go.ke or njukis2002@yahoo.com.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Cheers.

Project Level MfDR

While so much of emphasis is given for Managing for Development Results at the Partner Country level, it is essential that the same level of importance should be given at the Project Level as well. The accountability and ownership of all the stakeholders thus created through MfDR will ensure the successful implementation of the projects. Be it a donor or a government funded programme, the aspirations and needs of the beneficiaries need to be appropriately dovetailed in the plan and MfDR by its…See More
