Dear Sor/Madam,
Yes, Prince Ogunlewe, the Present Head of Service with the Lagos State Government, Nigeria deserve an award of a Transformative Leader. I worked in close collaboration with him when I was the Senior Technical Officer, with DFID Sponsored States Partnership for Accountability Responsiveness and Capability (SPARC), He is the chairman of all the transformational programme of Lagos State Government.
His leadership and humbleness is the power behind all the success story of Lagos State till date, This is why no state can compete with Lagos in Nigeria in terms of transformation and development. Lagos State is the one in terms of infrastructural development and the very first state to past the bill against domestic violence even ahead of the Federal Government.
Prince Ogunlewe has a way of organizing all the Permanent Secretaries (who has so much respect for him) together work and deliver at a very high speed. He will stay with them and work with them till very late and he always seek their opinion on all issues concerning work and how to deliver better services for Lagos people.
If there an award for a transformational Leader, I think this man derserve such an award.

The accountability and ownership of all the stakeholders thus created through MfDR will ensure the successful implementation of the projects. Be it a donor or a government funded programme, the aspirations and needs of the beneficiaries need to be appropriately dovetailed in the plan and MfDR by its…See More
