Criteria for Prioritization in Medium Term Planning - Good Practices
Dear Colleagues:
In a situation of limited resources and pressing challenges in particular low growth and productivity, high debt and crime and violence, how does a country prioritize? Jamaica is preparing to go into a process for developing a second medium term strategy which is aligned to the long term Vision 2030 Jamaica - National Development Plan. What are the experiences that Jamaica can learn from in selecting the right areas to focus on? How do we select the priority strategies in a rigorous way and which is inclusive and participatory?
In addition, what are the main steps (process) that the country should take in preparing this Medium Term Strategy?
