Current suggestions include:

- Link between national policy or PRS (Poverty Reduction Strategy) and the Budget (i.e. how to integrate national strategies in the national budget)

- Evaluation of the impact of development policies/strategies

-Results-based evaluation

-Health indicators
New suggestions came in today from members today!

1. New implications for monitoring and evaluation of programs and development projects under an MfDR approach

2. MfDR and the legislative power: How to use an MfDR approach in the control of the executive by a National Assembly

3. What MfDR offers decentralized bodies in improving transparency in the management of local development
New suggestion from a colleague in Madagascar:

- Creating a results culture - as this is the biggest challenge when we begin to implement MfDR
It may be useful for members to share knowledge and learn from colleagues who have introduced results Management in thier programmes/projects. Practical lessons on how to
Zaam, thanks for this suggestion. We do hope that the case study discussions which will start in a few months will promote that kind of practical experience sharing!
IT in Africa
I would like to build on the idea suggested by Zaam. My suggestion would be to make all discussions built around a real case study submitted by members -possibly taking topic suggestions above as overall framework. The end result of any discussion could become a synthesis case study document that presents possible solutioning approaches to the initial question and that could then be used to feed the Sourcebook -possibly African- and the content of the e-library.
